Established to promote the responsible management of the world’s forests. Products carrying the FSC label third-party ensure wood or fibre is sourced from forests that are managed to meet the social, economic and ecological needs of present and future generations. |
| Sustainable Forestry Initiative® (SFI®) |
Dedicated to promoting sustainable forest management and ensuring third-party certified wood from well-managed forests is available. The standard is used widely across North America and has strong acceptance in the global marketplace. |
| National Council for Air and Stream Improvement, Inc. (NCASI) |
Independent, non-profit research institute established in 1943. It is recognized as the leading source of reliable data on environmental issues affecting the forest products industry with more than 75 member companies throughout the US and Canada. |
